Waves of darkness eventually conquered the mighty sun, at least for today,
That silent breeze carrying a solitude within, enticing me to call it a day..!

With the city slipped into mid-night’s lap, everything seemed to have calmed down,
At this silent hour, soaking in that silvery moon light, I too long to take off my nigh-owl crown..!

Lulled by the music of my heartbeat, persuaded by the warmth of the night,
I was all helpless submitting myself to that peace without any fight.! 😇
